My name is Nikiforos, that’s Nik or Niki for short, and I'm a self taught multi-instrumentalist. I create transcripts, transposals and music lessons on acoustic and electric guitar, bass, bouzouki, baglamas, mandolin, mandola, ukuelele, etc. and share edits, records, compositions, restorations, experiments, concert footage and so on.

Apollonía is a Hellenic theophoric name, first an eponym and only later Romanized to be personal [Apollónia]. Meaning 'of Apollon', a Eurasian mythological figure worshipped as the god of music. Frequently having temples and cities built in his name in Sicily, Greece, Lydia, Lycia, Thrace and Persia, the most important histocial settlement and trading post of Apollonía was co-founded by various Greek and Illyrian tribes in coastal Illyria. In pre-Hellenic antiquity, it was where the Dorians descended from into ancient Greece. In medieval times, a lot of the Arvanites and Wallachians moved from that region into Byzantine and Ottoman Greece.
