i am Nick Morchang, a sound engineer by trade and also a film producer both in the studio and live.

This is an online account of recordings in sound and vision with many artists from around the world.

Much of the work here has been recorded live (albeit with "one take" overdubs)in the studio to give an authentic performance

the studio:

State of the art recording facility in the heart of Jaipur, Rajasthan, dedicated to recording both folk and classical music from Rajasthan.

It served as a platform for creativity and expression, encouraging the musicians to experiment to create the new sounds of Rajasthan.

i myself do not operate in india anymore but continue to produce freelance work and the studio is now under the control of a good friend adi bhasin....
