What is ASMR?

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is a tingling sensation (also known as “tingles”), usually beginning in the scalp and down the spine, experienced by some people in response to a specific stimulus (often a particular sound, or “trigger”). This sensation may cause a person to feel peaceful and even sleepy.
