Rex Richardson - Trumpeter, Educator, Composer

This channel features the professional activity of trumpeter, educator, and composer Rex Richardson. He was appointed professor of trumpet at University of South Carolina in 2024 and served as professor of trumpet and jazz studies at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2002-24. He also served as International Tutor in Trumpet at the Royal Northern College of Music in the Manchester, England from 2012-2015. He's been a Yamaha Performing Artist since 1995 .
