Welcome to the oorail model railway project. Our goal is to help both new and experienced railway modellers. Whether you are just starting with a train set or building your dream layout, the oorail project is here to provide you with tips, ideas and inspiration. Have a look at how we use different techniques and technologies to build innovative layouts. From 3D printing to painting track by hand, we find new and interesting ways to use traditional techniques and the latest technology. You will find everything from Tri-ang to the newest manufacturers, including running sessions and how-to videos.

While our main layout is a large multi-era British OO scale model railway, we also have an Irish multi-era layout set in County Kerry, an American HO layout set in Ohio, a British N scale layout set between 1955 and 1968, and a British O scale layout.
