T S Sathyavathi

Dr. T. S. Sathyavathi is a distinguished Carnatic vocalist, Sanskrit scholar, composer, and musicologist, celebrated for her pathbreaking contributions to Indian classical arts. With over five decades of impactful work, she continues to be an active performer, acclaimed speaker, and highly sought-after guru. Her recent projects include curating and presenting major online music courses, releasing a landmark compilation of 124 compositions of Muthuswamy Dikshitar, and composing for classical dance and theatre. She serves as President of the Indian Institute of World Culture and has held key academic and advisory roles across premier institutions.
